Since the rain and wind can be quite interesting on the Norwegian vest coast, Ive had several tent travelers that has spend the night on the field where the wagon is standing. This caravan was originally produced in Denmark, and actually the weight, shape and size was especially made for the VW Beetle. Since the Beetle was small and light, in the same time as the most popular car in Europe, the danish wanted to make a caravan that could be used as a “every families caravan” for vacations. Like Niewiadow made their caravan for the Polish produced Fiat, the Danish made a small, lightweight and non-expensive Caravan for the VW Beetle. They first MKP Petit on the roads was produced in 1959 and today they starts to be more and more seldom to see on the roads. One year ago, this caravan was my home thru 70.000 km with a VW Beetle dragging us. Summer, fall, winter and spring. And yes, you read, 70,000km during 12 months.
